What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a format for delivering regularly changing web content,
like our rates. Many news-related sites, weblogs and other online publishers syndicate their content as an RSS Feed to whoever wants it.
You can tell where a feed is available by the small
orange button that appears on the page. They look like
one of these:

At
www.firstnumber.co.uk we use the type to the right
of this text (only not as big) and you can find it at
the bottom of almost every page.
Why RSS?
It allows you to easily stay up to date by retrieving a summary of the latest content from the sites you are interested in,
like our rates. You save time by not needing to visit each site individually. The number of sites offering RSS feeds is growing rapidly and includes big names like Yahoo News and Amazon.com.
What do I need to do to read an RSS Feed?
You will need a piece of software that allows you to grab the RSS feed from our site. The software will display them for you to read and use.
Where can I get the software?
You can get the software from various places but here's
one to get you started:
a list of newsreaders on Google.
